Sub-processors
The third parties that process data on our behalf. The list is short, because your mail never reaches us.
Last updated
These are the third parties that process personal data on our behalf, and what each one sees. The list is short by design: the MailDock software runs on your server, so your mail, your mailboxes and your users are never processed by us or by anyone here.
| Sub-processor | What they do for us | What they see | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services | Hosts the licence server and this website, and sends our outbound email | Licence keys and the servers they are bound to; website requests; form submissions; the emails we send you | United States |
| Hetzner Online GmbH | Runs our mail server, which receives support email and form notifications | What you write to us, and the details you give in a form | Germany, Finland (EU) |
| Stripe | Payments and subscription billing | Your name, email, billing address and card details (we never see the card) | United States, EU |
| Cloudflare | DNS for maildock.app, and Turnstile on our forms |
DNS queries; a bot-score signal on form submissions | Global edge |
| Google (Tag Manager, Analytics) | Website analytics, only after you consent | Pages viewed on this website | United States, EU |
Not sub-processors
- Your AI provider. If you configure Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI or another provider in the product, that is your relationship and your key. They process your data as your processor, not ours; we are not in the path. See Privacy & AI.
- Your hosting provider. Whoever runs the server MailDock is installed on.
- Your migration source. cPanel, Plesk, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 — the connectors talk to them from your server with credentials you supply, and never through us.
Changes
We will update this page before adding a sub-processor. If you have a licence and want to be told in advance, say so through the contact form.
